Pasta with a Pesto Sauce
This is a very simple and cheap dish costing no more than £2 for a portion big enough for 2 people. Although these portions are not very big portions they could be supplemented with a pizza or garlic bread. One of the great things about this recipe is that you can add or remove ingredients to suit your taste.
Ingredients
A couple of handfuls of dry pasta
1/4 of a chopped onion depending on taste
2 tbsp of pesto sauce
1 slice of cooked ham
2 slices of pepperoni
1/2 garlic clove crushed
Directions
Bring the pasta to the boil and cook your taste
Drain the pasta and return to the pan
Add the pesto sauce, chopped onion, ham, pepperoni and crushed garlic
Stir until the pasta is coated in the sauce
Leave on a low heat for 2-3 minutes stirring throughout
Serve and enjoy
